Bea's funeral will be held on 14th February 2015.

We will start by congregating at Bea's house in Feniton between 1100 and 1230.

We will then process in convoy to the funeral service at St Peter's Church, Budleigh Salterton, leaving promptly at 1300 and arriving between 1345 and 1400. Please note that the service will start when the convoy arrives at the church, or 1345, whichever is the later. This is to ensure the service is completed by 1500 when the minister has to leave. Therefore, if you are going directly to the church rather than in procession, please arrive at 1345.

The service will include tributes to Bea, along with music and readings performed by us her family in memory of her. It will be a chance to learn things about her that you never knew!

After the service, at 1515, we have a buffet arranged at:

This is a short walk or drive from the church.

After the buffet, close family and friends are invited back to Bea's house.

The cremation will be held the following Friday afternoon at East Devon Crematorium at 1515. However, please note that this will involve only the placement of the coffin. There will not be a service. The event is primarily intended only for close family.

Anyone that knew Bea, directly or indirectly, is welcome to attend the funeral service. If you wish to attend, particularly if you will be travelling in the procession, and certainly if you intend to join us for food and a chat afterwards, please contact us in plenty of time - preferably by Wednesday 12th. Regarding flowers and donations: Overall, we are hoping for a mixture of flowers and donations.

Flowers:

If you wish to send flowers, please send them to Palmers Funeral Service, 45 High Street, Budleigh Salterton, Devon EX9 6LE, to arrive on Friday 13th February, 2015.

Since, due to circumstances, the cremation is almost a week after the funeral service, please choose flowers that will last for this length of time. They will be kept cool between events, and if the cut stems are exposed then they will be put in water.

I strongly recommend ordering flowers from July of Buddleia Flowers, Budleigh Salterton, because she understands the situation. She can be contacted on 01395 442695. Her website is http://buddleiaflowers.weebly.com/. If you give her a call, she will happily advise you of appropriate flowers and ways of presenting them such that they will last the week.

Given that it is Valentines day next Saturday, July of Buddleia will be very busy this week. Therefore, if at all possible, please place your order on Monday 9th Feb.
